Halfway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains, Montgomery County is protected against severe climate changes. Residents enjoy mild weather all year. Summer highs range from the mid 60's to low 90's, while winter temperatures range from the 20's to the low 50's. To us, snow is a treat. Not every year has a snowfall as we are protected by the Uwharries that keep the brunt of winter storms to the north of us. It's an ideal climate for enjoying the many outdoor recreation opportunities the count offers.
